# M04-L04 exercise — Record decisions and test evidence

Starting checkpoint: CP02. Figures: SS09-03, D08.

Write a decision for the synthetic core path, a test plan for one behavior present in your checkpoint, and a result record from a real available run. If no run is available, label the result unperformed and state exactly what is missing. Add a six-line handoff with evidence pointers and one next task. Submit the records separately from source-code changes. Reset by returning to the preserved CP02 copy without deleting useful personal notes.

Record the checkpoint, changed files, checks actually performed, results, and open limitations. Keep expected output distinct from observed output. Preserve the starting copy and review the final diff before considering the artifact complete.
