# M05-L01 exercise — Give the agent project instructions

Starting checkpoint: CP02. Figures: SS10-01, SS10-02, D09.

Create or revise root `AGENTS.md` with purpose, context links, relevant check commands, bounded scope, and completion evidence. Check the exact filename and active root. For each rule, name a visible behavior that would satisfy it. Submit the file and static review notes. Do not claim a fresh-session pass yet. Recovery: compare against the preserved copy and revise only demonstrated ambiguity or stale paths.

Record the checkpoint, changed files, checks actually performed, results, and open limitations. Keep expected output distinct from observed output. Preserve the starting copy and review the final diff before considering the artifact complete.
