# Extraction examples

Keep a value attached to its units, condition and source identity. For example,
“3.3 V connector supply, board guide, STEMMA QT section” is a board-level fact;
it does not establish the bare chip's maximum supply rating. A typical timing
value is not a guaranteed timeout. Copy neither one into code as the other.

A complete source identity includes the exact component/board variant, document
title and revision or pinned source version, plus the relevant section. An access
date records when an unversioned web guide was checked; it is not a PCB revision.

When the source does not establish a required pin mapping, use “not established
by supplied source” in the value/confidence columns and state the design decision
that must wait. If the supplied sources disagree, retain both source identities
and the conflict rather than averaging values or choosing the more familiar pin.
