M02-L01 exercise — Accounts, tools, and usage

Start: M01 complete; a private place to finish account sign-in.

Create setup-record.md with operating system/architecture, intended project location, editor, extension publisher/version, account access path, and current result. Do not record passwords, tokens, recovery codes, or private account metadata.

Classify these activities: asking a browser chat to explain an excerpt; allowing an editor agent to read project files; writing an API client requiring a key. State which path this course uses. Identify one action you can continue locally if the AI account is limited. If sign-in is incomplete, leave agent access pending rather than borrowing the instructor's result.
