M04-L02 exercise — Make a useful README

Starting checkpoint: CP02. Figures: SS08-03, SS08-04.

Complete LAB08 from Chapter 8. Add purpose, setup links, host-replay instructions, a separate firmware-build explanation, and one recoverable troubleshooting entry. Execute the documented first check when the required tools are available. Submit the README and a dated record of link checks, command, outcome, and unresolved prerequisites. Preserve earlier work; use a new CP02 folder for reset. Optional peer review must be described as peer review only if another person actually performed it.

Completion record

Record the checkpoint, changed files, checks actually performed, results, and open limitations. Keep expected output distinct from observed output. Preserve the starting copy and review the final diff before considering the artifact complete.
