M07 challenge — Resume without the old chat

Complete M07-L01–L04, then work from a separate fresh CP08 Sensor Monitor copy. The challenge combines tested software, the review skill, and maintained context. It should not introduce the capstone parser or alert policy.

Read the handoff yourself and preserve the starting status/source identity. Start a fresh session at the repository root and ask it to complete the next bounded handoff task using project context. Do not paste the implementation, command list, or old conversation into that prompt. Preserve the exact prompt, visible file reads/actions, result, and any limitation.

The supplied task adds a test for negative infinity producing FAULT/nonfinite with no current temperature. Inspect the assertion's independent starting state and the final diff. Confirm the maintained test command actually executes successfully against that source. If you already added this case earlier, the fresh CP08 reset keeps this challenge reproducible.

Bring forward the three review cases: meaningful stale defect, clean rename, unrelated README work. Selection and review quality are separate observations. A passing skill-file format check is not a substitute for these behavior records.

Submit the session record, small test diff, real check receipt, current handoff, and review case records. Add a brief explanation of an unsupported or failed claim you would reject, and the evidence needed to resolve it. A blocked execution remains open, while completed preparation can be reported separately.
